Red Bird is a nature and art based Preschool, licensed and insured in Shutesbury, MA.  We believe in hands-on learning where each child is valued as an unique learner.

​HenaSusha Schiffman, Owner and Preschool Teacher, has worked with children for 30 years in diverse settings: urban, Head Start, public schools, and education centers. Nikki Collari, Certified Assistant, has worked as a Child Care Teacher and a Nanny for over 5 years.

​Red Bird Preschool’s philosophy is learning is natural, and fun.  The curriculum is a creative blend of  Play and Nature-Based, Nurtured Heart, Reggio-Emilia, Waldorf, and Montessori approaches.
